This is absolutely heartbreaking. They seem so ashamed of a great legacy these shorts have. AND SINCE WHEN ARE LOONEY TUNES FOR KIDS. I loved the syndicated tv era, I am a staunch defender of it, because even censored the shorts were still in business, kids loved them, adults loved them, GRANDPARENTS LOVED THEM. This is terrible.

Looney tunes always has gotten a bad rap, even in the beginning due to some of the "questionable" things they did.
Its right up there with Tex Avery.
It's a shame they're pulling them.

It's so strange MAX is leaving all the derivative "family" animated series, yet have removed the original theatrical cartoons because they're for "children." They only came to be known that way due to matinee showings and decades of morning/afternoon TV airings... but they were, for the most part, for made for adults. One of the demographics MAX is supposedly focusing on now. I'd like to think they may shop the theatrical cartoons around to other streaming services, but I doubt it.

Those numbers are especially impressive because those are the juicy adult demographic advertisers crave and almost no children.

I know about them. I watch MeTV many mornings for their cartoons. However... cable doesn't reflect most viewers any longer, let alone harder-to-locate digital sub-channels. I wish I could see MeTV Toons in my area, but it's not available here yet. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled they're having success with the venture. It's good that they're keeping things available to the public. But I don't think they're getting many people who are seeing their program selections for the first time. Their fans are already familiar with their lineup. I was more wondering where today's youngsters may see these characters for the first time.

It was easy for TV generation kids through the 1990s. Turn on a TV (with cable or not) to any number of stations and there they were - in the mornings and afternoons. It was the ultimate passive path to seeing new things. But now? It's completely different. With so much content out there, and viewers in the mode of looking for the next new thing, it's a bit more difficult to get them to click on decades old, 7 minute theatrical cartoons (and older half hour animated series). Thanks to the decision of MAX, they can't even do that with Warner Bros. shorts any more. Some of the best examples of the format ever made.

Hey you asked "Where are people actually watching the Looney Tunes" and I answered . Sadly, I dont know of any more mainstream release for the Looney ones that actually is a major success other than that. If you yourself know that Me TV is sadly not big enough then there really isnt a big enough release. I am sorry to say.

Also I've been converted to streaming. I watched 40 episodes of anime on streaming. A huge marathon. I am starting to see why its so popular it took over completely. It is VERY convenient.

There's a reason why I have a Crunchyroll subscription, one of the few streamers I do. It's too bad Gatchaman is on HiDive and not Crunchyroll, I can only afford so many streams.

I feel bad now. Getting an account could have helped the anime get more viewers and more would get dubbed... I do wish they sold already so Tokyo Mew Mew New could be dubbed.
